Zwar rettet auch sie das israelische Volk, indem sie den assyrischen Tyrannen Holofernes enthauptet. Hier aber qu\u00e4len die nach au\u00dfen gottesf\u00fcrchtige Befreierin Selbstzweifel. Objektiv betrachtet handelte Judith n\u00e4mlich nicht alleine im Auftrag Gottes. Vielmehr begehrte sie Holofernes.
