Das ist nicht Afrika, behauptet das Festival auf Kampnagel. Dem kann man nur schwer etwas entgegensetzen. Auch wenn ein Dutzend Produktionen mit Partnern aus Mosambik, Mali, Tunesien, der Demokratischen Republik Kongo und S\u00fcdafrika modernes Tanztheater aus deutsch-afrikanischen Netzwerken pr\u00e4sentieren \u2013 diesen riesigen, widerspr\u00fcchlichen Kontinent kriegt auch eine solche Mammut-Produktion nicht unter einen Hut. Der Mix aus traditionellen und westeurop\u00e4ischen Tanzproduktionen thematisiert unter anderem soziale Umbr\u00fcche und Verwerfungen in Tunis, Maputo und Kinshasa. Der H\u00f6hepunkt von This Ain’t Africa<\/em> ist die Neuinterpretation des Ballettklassikers Schwanensee<\/em> (Foto) durch den s\u00fcdafrikanischen Shootingstar Dada Masilo, welche die stereotype Aufteilung in Schwarz-Wei\u00df hinterfragt und Geschlechterrollen zur Diskussion stellt. Dar\u00fcber hinaus zeigt die Inszenierung Point Of Intersection<\/em> vom Choreografen Panaibra Gabriel Canda am 4. April, wie ein tanzender K\u00f6rper politische Zeichen setzen kann.<\/p>\n
